Overview

This consultation seeks views on the draft guidance on Healthcare in Schools in Scotland. The guidance will support health boards and schools in the delivery of healthcare support to pupils who need support as a result of a healthcare need. The guidance has been developed in partnership with a range of key stakeholders including representatives from education and health services, specific healthcare organisations, and parents and carers.

We are consulting prior to publication of final guidance. The guidance has been developed in consultation with key stakeholders representing a range of perspectives across health and education and parents and carers. Prior to publication of finalised guidance we would like the views of others to ensure that the guidance is fit for purpose in supporting those who deliver healthcare support in schools.
