Yes, makes perfect sense. Will be good for companies who wish to go beyond compliance.

How could SEPA better support the uptake of new technologies?
Advertise good practice / innovation on SEPA website via case studies. This would also have the added advantage of positive advertising of good practise from individual companies which will introduce a positive competiveness to do better practice. I would also encourage and welcome SEPA early communication / advice prior to submitting an application.

One and two are fine, however three is very similar to part one (prevent harm). I would recommend that the third should be more positive such as promote good practice and innovation.

Very happy with the above. The format adopted in the CAR regulations and associated guidance is excellent and easy to understand as will the above.

For permits there should have a pre-application consultation stage. This would hopefully speed the process up and make life easier for regulatory body and the applicant enabling the correct level of information to be submitted.
