DCF Expression of Interest
Overview
The DCF can support projects looking for funding for infrastructure upgrades and innovation in retrieval and transportation methods at ports and harbours. It seeks to encourage engineering scoping work at key sites, to build business cases and feasibility studies that will help to attract further private investment. The DCF will align with and support cost reduction efforts related to retrieval and disposal activities, with the aim of enhancing the Scottish onshore decommissioning market. Expressions of Interest to the Fund are now being accepted.
Expressions of interest received by the 28th April 2017 will inform procedures to support applications for the first round of funding. Using the information supplied through the Expressions of Interest, DCF Partners will work with applicants to develop full applications to the Fund. Some feasibility projects will likely be funded directly by DCF Partners, however those requiring more significant capital investment will have to be considered by the DCF Programme Board and applications may be invited through calls for specific project types. The Fund will remain open to Expressions of Interest throughout the year with those received after 28 April 2017 used to inform further rounds of funding.
